Although the official summer season is coming to a close, the chic styles just might be here to stay! As the summer home décor trends in 2021 emphasized bringing the outdoors in, it’s easy to extend that feeling well into fall – especially here in Florida!

The best part about this summer’s popular styles is they are cost-friendly, and not to mention easy to transition! I’ve put together a list of a few of the top trends you can easily incorporate into any home!

 

Wallpaper

Yes – that’s right! Wallpaper has been increasingly gaining popularity over the past year. Textured patterns and prints have been especially high in demand as creativity flowed strong in 2020.  Peel-and-stick wallpaper has even become popular for those who are afraid of committing to a more perm look and/or on a budget.

 

Pale Shades & Wood Tones

Given the turmoil over the past 18 months, it’s no surprise you see a trend of pale and toned-down colors being used in 2021.  Especially this summer you will see the calming and earth tone colors like sage green, powder blue, and light wood tones.  Using colors that correspond with nature can bring out a relaxing vibe in many environments.

 

Natural Elements

To correspond with the lighter color shades, the use of natural elements in home design has been extremely prevalent this summer. Living in Florida allows for unique décor including shells, sand, and other beach elements. Any home no matter where you are located can easily incorporate natural woods, stone, and live plants.
